LESSONS
Trollhaugen Ski/Snowboard School is a recognized member of the Professional Ski/Snowboard Instructors of America.
We use the internationally acclaimed American Teaching Method. ATM is a student centered method that allows the student to progress at their own pace while experiencing the thrill of skiing/snowboarding.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Ages 5+ ski / 6+ snowboard: $83
90 minutes of 1 on 1 instruction for either skiing or snowboarding. Add additional participants to make this a semi-private lesson. Each additional participant is $50. Additional participants must be of similar ability and all participants must all ski or all snowboard.
YOUTH Ski/SNOWBOARD GROUP LESSONS
Beginner Lessons
This lesson is geared towards never-evers and beginners. They will be learning the basics with instructors in groups of 4 to 5 participants.
Ages: Skiers 5-12, Snowboarders 6-12
Dates: Weekends Starting December 5th

Intermediate Lessons
This lesson is geared towards participants that are ready for the bigger hills. They will be learning how to ski blue runs with instructors in groups of 4 to 5 participants. Participants must be able to load and unload the chairlift unassisted by instructors. Students may be riding chairlift by themself or with other students.

PARENT ASSISTED LESSONS
Ages: 3-5 (ski) / 4-6 (snowboard)
We offer special lessons for skiers age 3-5 and snowboarders age 4-6. This lesson will teach parents/guardians how to ski/snowboard with their little ones! This program requires an accompanying responsible person, aged 16+ to participate with the youth. The parent/guardian must have at least beginner/intermediate skills and be able to assist the youth participant up the rope tow.The Program Fee is $83 and includes youth ticket. Add-Ons: Youth Rental – $25, Adult Beginner Area Ticket – $25, Adult Rental – $25 if needed. Classes Are Limited – Reserve Your Spot Now!
EXPLORER CORPS
Ages: 7-14
LEVEL: Low Level Intermediate – Experienced
MISSION: To prepare intermediate to advanced ski and snowboarding youth for more difficult terrain.
WHO: For the skier / snowboarder who handles green and easy blue runs, but wants to explore the whole mountain. Participants must be able to load and unload the chair unassisted.
WHAT: Grow your skiing/riding skills to carve the hills, ride the steeps, jump over bumps and rolls, gain confidence in your riding and have fun wherever you ski/ride
WHY: Learn to ski/ride all the hills and make the whole mountain a playground.
HOW: An Explorer Corps coach leads students across a variety of terrain each week. Coaches enhance skill and comfort levels using the latest techniques from PSIA and AASI, exploring every inch of Trollhaugen’s slopes and beyond.
Participants must be able to control their speed with turns on green and blue hills, and be able to ride the chair lift by themselves. If you have any questions please feel free to call our snowsports desk at 715-755-2955 x226.

PRE-SCHOOL SKI SCHOOL
Ages: 3-5
Interested in helping your 3-5 year old learn how to ski, or just having some fun out on the snow? We have the perfect program for you and your children with the Trollhaugen Pre-School Ski School. The class is for children ages 3 to 5 and must be accompanied by an adult with some skiing experience. An instructor will teach children the FUNdamentals of skiing, with the assistance of their adults.
Program fee – $175
This includes child and adult lift and rental, and the lesson. Also includes a complimentary hot chocolate after the lesson.

LEARN TO SKI & SNOWBOARD SERIES
Learn to ski and snowboard this winter with the Trolls! This beginner friendly 3-Week Series is the ultimate starting point for skiing and snowboarding. Our amazing team of instructors will get you out on the slopes and making the most of winter. Join as an individual, or get your family and friends together for a fun way to try out a new sport!
Program fee – $150
Includes (3) 90 minute group lessons, lift tickets, and rentals for the series.

ADAPTIVE LESSON PROGRAM
Trollhaugen offers Adaptive lessons 7 days / week by appointment. We offer individual instruction for participants who require specialized equipment, additional instructor support, or structured guidance to participate safely and successfully. Reservations are required and accepted in the order they are received.
The types of lessons with equipment include: three track, four track, mono-ski, bi-ski, and other adaptive devices that support safe and successful participation.
For safety and instructional support, participants may be required to have a companion skier (“Ski Buddy”) who skis with them during the lesson. Lift tickets and equipment rental for the Ski Buddy are included in the lesson price.
Trollhaugen instructors provide ski and snowboard instruction only and do not provide medical care or personal care services. Participants who require personal care, medical assistance, behavioral support, or supervision beyond the scope of ski instruction must be accompanied by a responsible companion who remains on-site during the lesson.

All reservations must be made a minimum of fourteen (14) days prior to the date of the lesson. Single Session Lessons are 3 hours in length from 9:30am – 12:30pm, 1:00pm – 4:00pm, and 3:00pm – 6:00pm. Double Session Lessons are 6 hours in length from 9am – 4pm.
